24k is pure gold. Krugs, Am Eagles, and C Maples all contain 1 oz of pure gold, but due to the alloy content, Krugs and Am Eagles are heavier than 1 oz. The C Maple is 24k gold and hence it has a weight of 1 oz. The extra premium for the Eagles is due to their popularity.
