I consider Darryl Robert Schoon's most recent piece titled "A Golden Parachute with a Silver Lining" to be one one of the best in recent times.
It does not provide much in news but it is a superb summary as to what has and is going on with the global money supply.

Just get rid of the spaces in the above link, Agoracom has a tendency to shorten web addresses and make them unusable ( a major annoyance to me).
