No silver in Alberta

I have bought silver from Kitco before, but I thought that as a dealer for the Royal Canadian Mint, the Bank of Nova Scotia would be able to provide silver and gold maples cheaper and faster. Went to the local branch to order a 500 box set of silvers and 25 gold maples. Well dream on streetgeorge!

Gold maples they had...for $950 Can. That is F.O.B Toronto

Silver maples...None in Edmonton or Calgary, or anywhere for that matter. But they could order them in if I could wait a couple of weeks. Only $24.95 Can. per coin.

These prices were at $800 US spot gold and $12.79 silver this morning. ($851.20 and $13.61 Canadian, @ 1.064 exchange). Something is terribly wrong.
