I have a great deal of respect for Don Coxe and consider him the pre-eminent macro strategist on the planet. But I can't support his view of not being bitter about these events. In my view it's war and people like Don should be shouting from the roof tops and leading legal action charges against the criminal elements in New York and Washington. It's this "oh they didn't have a choice crap" that has put us in this position of being exploited and having our wealth diminished and it's going to bankrupt America before it's done. I say point fingers now and start legal actions and make the mining industry get aggressive in rejecting the passive approaches which have put companies in the position of risk that shouldn't exist.

The risks in mining are great enough without government supported interventions of price fixing or poor price discovery mechanisms that are utter failures. It's government, Wallstreet types and bureaucrats that have created the problems but now investors and citizens must bear the burden and have these same people determine who will or won't be winners. I think NOT!! It used to be that arms would be taken up against this kind of oppresssion and tyranny in the past but now we get to vote for bad or worse instead, where is the leadership, it's simply no where to be found.
