I requested the share certificates for all 7 junior mining stocks I held with Penn Trade. They told me one of the companies was frozen (because of a proposed spin off) but they submitted the paper work on 7/30/08 for the other 6 companies. As of 2 weeks ago I had received all but one company, ECU. As of today I still have not received my ECU share certificates and it has been over 6 weeks. I sent Penn Trade an email tonight so lets see what they say. Pretty sad that they can't come up with my measly 3,050 shares. I have previously received the bulk of my ECU share certs from Ameritrade about a year ago.
