Thanks ESL. The broker (National Bank) was not sure and said it coud be sooner as he hasn't had to deliver certificates for years. I have talked to him again and he said that Compushare would be the determiner and that it may be as soon as three weeks.

Sometimes I get caught thinking that I am overly concerned, especially for a cash account, but Jim Sinclair's last notice prompted me to act.

I did call the IR of a US PM stock I hold today and he urged me to take posession of my certs for their shares...which surprised me. He said he has advised all investers he talks to, to do so.

I would be curious to know if others have had similar feedback from their US companies.
