It sure would be nice to see ECU breakout next week, but I'm not holding my breath. 13 of the 15 stocks in the HUI were in the red Friday. That's over 85% down. That's a lot considering gold and silver didn't really tank. Sorta like they all got caught in a rip tide.
Not only that, but my juniors, outside of ECU, were taken in back of the barn and beaten with a stick. Not just down a penny or two, but .15 and .20 cents for a couple for a couple of them. It was unusual to see them get hit this much under the circumstances. Something's screwy.
So ECU is swimming against the tide, at least on Friday, which may mean some news is just around the corner to keep it going. Tide is still going out. Maybe some news next week will turn it around.
