Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
You know funny enough they did wait, for at least 3 years during the time of Volcker....they were paying 17% interest on their homes....we are now a spoiled lot, the baby boom generation (I happen to be Gen-Y) but the boomers think it ought to come to them on a silver platter....sorry but it aint gonna happen that way.
History, I repeat, shows that the blow off top comes in the last year when things go parabolic. In our case it will likely go hyperparabolic as Rome burns.
A depression like scenario only happens once in a generation (80 yrs or so). Why?because once a generation lives through a depression they do their darndest to avoid it the next time around, by saving and being responsible. There is no one alive, in power that is, that was around during the depression that I would say is responsible and has the compassion of the previous generation. In the history of depressions, financial crisis kind, there have been only five since the 1600's: 1637 Tulipomania bubble, South sea bubble of the 1710-20, the French Monarchy bankruptcy in 1789, the panic of 1857 and the 1929 crash. Ours is no different, except there are more resources and the world given it's cross border PROXIMITY, is one of generally higher complexity. Nothing changes ofcourse, except that this proximity will only bring down other proximate societies with it, Western Europe, etc. If you want a hand in the one-in-a-lifetime potential to make more money in your generation than you could ever make in any other part of your lifetime THIS IS IT, but you have to wait for it and understand and wait for its time to be upon you.
Ive personally avoided having a trader mentality, aka, A.D.D, which is so common in our generation, you will likely give up the opportunity of a lifetime.
I simply hold a deep core position, my "core" is 60% invested in JPM (40% of my total wealth is in ECU, the other 20% spread across other silver JPMs and silver Bullion) and the rest is Canadian cash, I would only use 5% to technical trade...only because the technicals at this point dont matter. The grand chess board is being played by masters with greater resources than us.
