C'mon Fan, one unanswered email should not be sufficient reason to post a gripe on this board. I think we all know, and you do to, that there are a lot of reasons emails go astray. Haldane's filters may have kicked it into a junk file, he may be inundated with emails due to the financial crisis, your ISP may be screwed up (as your email to Mr. Altmann may prove), or, more likely, what you wrote and the way you wrote it may have caused him to ignore it or, better yet, delete it. That's probably what really happened, that is, if you're not just pulling our leg.

Sometimes email is too slow for me. I use the phone. As I reported several days ago, I called Chris Haldane. A lady answered and said Mr. Haldane was in a meeting and would call me back. Within an hour, there he was, and I'm way down here in Florida.
