What you are witnessing with junior mining companies is a sector wide phenomenon.

A few weeks ago I posted a table comparing ECU to its peers that highlighted the relative strength of ECU. I have since updated the table with today's closing numbers and as you can see ECU is still second only to Gammon Gold when using Overall Share Price Decline. The declines are not isolated to ECU.

Most of us here are firm believers in the fundamentals for significantly higher PM prices and how that will translate into juniors with real deposits like ECU.

The massive currency injection we are witnessing will soon translate into rapidly accelerating price inflation that will contradict what many deflationist pundits have been preaching of late. It is not a matter of if this will happen, only when.

Then we will observe the USD's swan song at which time gold and silver will rise to new recent highs and convince many of the non-believers that this PM bull market is back on.

There will come a time in the not to distant future where the options for wealth safe havens will be limited to hard assets and specifically anything with REAL exposure to gold and silver.

It is easy to understand why so many would disagree with this particular view point given the recent market dislocations.
