The subject of a large company take over of ECU is an interesting one. I don't think it is too likely. For one thing, it seems to me that the management has demonstrated that they want to build an enduring company. They are doing the right things: hired good people, found potential sites, established a sound financial base, drilled like crazy, proved resources, brought production on line.
This is head and shoulders ahead of most jr's. I have had the impression that many jrs just wanted to find property and drill enough to prove out the economic potential and then look for a buy out. ECU management has demonstrated that they are the kind of company which feels that their value is in the future of the company. I am as impressed with their management as I am with their resources.
As they continue to expand their resources/reserves it will transition out of the ranks of a jr mine into that of a leading silver producer. They will be buying jrs with economic silver properties. At that time I hope to be able to brag at buying at any price below $5.
Now if the cabal would all lose their jobs and have to go to work at WalMart.....
