While I do not see a likely possibility for the Amero to emerge, at least not in the
immediate future, I also do not see its emergence as affecting our share price. What ever the share price in C or US $, it would be converted into the Amero on the agreed upon exchange rates.

As far as debating whether to be in gold or silver, I am betting that the general public will go more into gold - just tradition and habit.
The more knowledgable investors would hedge more into silver due to the relative devaluation relative to gold and the obvious shortage of a metal that is consumed industrially.

I am surprised that silver has not exploded already considering the lack of availability of it. I blame the delay on manipulation through 'paper silver' offerings - same as gold but more extreme in silver's case to to lack of the Real Thing.
It's like betting in a horse race, talk is of gold but the 'experts' are probably quietly placing more bets on silver. Either way you should win.
As with all rumours, you take your risks.
