On CNN today, President Bush stated emphatically that he had to order the abandonment of "Free Market Principles" in order to save the "Free Market".

Well, Mr. President, I have news for you. The fact that someone, even if it is the President of The United States of America, has the power to order the manipulation of the "Free Market", indicates that there is no such thing as a "Free Market", and the very fact that you can admit to this manipulation, must send a chill through markets all over the world.

There will be lots more to come over the next six weeks.

Think we have seen the worst?
