CNBC interviewed a couple of guys at about 1:00 who gave thumbs up to gold and thumbs down to the dollar. Right after the interviewing, gold/silver began to rally. This could be the reason for the spike. Or, maybe there was a large drawdown in Comex inventory today.

Boxing day is a holiday??????? lol
