You are right, VHF, energy-dependence is a dangerous thing nowadays. I am lucky enough to live in nuclear France, while my family in Holland still has a lot of gas below the sea to tap from. It seems to me that the Ukraine has put Vladimir to the test in a very early stage. Better now than later.
