I doubt ECU will do much of anything without fund involvement. The float is so large that it must be tough to move the price substantially with mostly or only retail participation. Most of my juniors that are now really moving have relatively small floats in comparison, so I imagine that fairly substantial retail can boost the stock price, although some are showing volume well into the six figures which probably means funds are moving in.
So where are the funds with ECU and what will make them come on board? What is it that's keeping them out? I cannot get an idea of which ones own ECU now, or even recently, though the World Precious Minerals Fund now has a million shares and commerce Bank NA owns 86,300 (heck, I own a lot more than that). Puplava Financial had 49,400 but unloaded it all back in November, which was a real surprise to me. Why would Puplava do that, I wonder. With all the positive data available re ECU, I would hope there are other funds on board. If not, that would be an eye brow raiser for me.
Has Embry changed his mind re ECU yet? How about Sprott? Are they in? If not, why not? What about the other funds? Whatever it is they're looking for, apparently it isn't yet visible. So we wait, and I don't have a clue.
