I know. The Banks need assets that they can leverage the hell out of. The higher the said asset value is, the greater the fractional leverage, right? Therefore, all the TD and friends have to do is drive the price of ECU sky high and we are all winners!

The really positive thing is that we will all be joined at the hip with our gold/silver certificates (shares). We will have a gold/silver based currency, so to speak...even if most of it is still in the ground.

Here's something else. The UN Crime boss issued a press release acknowledging the fact that banks have been involved in drug cartel money laundering. Talk about being desperate. At least ECU didn't have to resort to that! or the TD I guess.
