Hi Wannabe!
I have heard that there were mining companies in the last big boom cycle that were paying big dividends and I suppose that could happen again, so I should never say never. I just try to think of the current situation and even senior companies that have hundreds of thousands of ounces of gold production a year are still in difficulty and not able to pay out a big dividend, so I think it is unlikely for ECU to be attractive just on that basis. For me its about getting a big resource proven up and then making it all happen with a senior player to get a world class mine in operation. If that comes to pass, we are going to be booking a huge profit on the shares we own today.
