Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
Believe me we are all extremely frustrated at the price of ECU (with the exception of those who have profited). I would think that the management of the co. is probably just as upset...probably moreso, than most of us could imagine. I see no point in calling them. I trust them. The complexities, challenges and costs of growing and running a major PM explorer are daunting indeed, especially when the investment climate has been so unforgiving. The man hours and work that have so far gone into this project would have deterred even the best of men, but M.Roy has stood in there getting his nose bloodied for years...almost like being in the WFC hectagon at times I would believe. Even in the early years he was ignored by certain people who made an error in judgement and subsequently realized it...but they have not come forth to admit it or help in any way. Human pride can be an awful thing you know.
It is my strong belief that this courageous man and his co. have been singled out and fraudulently manipulated for years by major financial entities...we will leave the reasons why out. ECU has been getting the water board treatment by more than one arrogant "establishment" prick, whether it be a broker, banker, financer, hedge fund manager, whatever. Millions have been made at the expense of the co. and the shareholders by various and sundry dirty tricks such as naked shorting and bashing...while the authorities and regulators looked the other way. Just put it down to influence or ignorance. I have tried.
This facilitated easy pickings for legal shorters, day traders, wannabe bashers, smart traders (such as those we are suffering at the hands of now via the financing) and others. Its a vicious world and right now, right here at ECU. They take no prisoners.
Have you seen those Burmese boat people that were put on leaky boats and dragged out to sea, never to be seen again? I could think of a few miscreants, more than a few, that I would like to arrange a personal charter for. Just wishful thinking of course. But some of them have been found out due to their other adventures and they may not be feeling quite so secure as the hammer begins to drop. There will be a price to be paid, mark my words. But that does not help our present predicament and it won't be by our hands.
I have tried to be positive in the majority of my posts here...often referring to the macro picture....and often with respect to ECU. I have always been sincere in my posts and I am not a trader in ECU, much to my detriment. I have encouraged friends and relatives for years to invest in ECU. I do feel a sense of responsibility for that which I am not sure how to deal with at this time... because ECU is at the other end of the extreme with repsect to being considered a scam. I have had to sell some times out of necessity and today I bought 20,000 shares at .60, which may or may not have been timely. There is no place for loyalty in this business and I am most aware of that, so I will take my punishment. Those who have prospered honestly trading ECU are obviously smart and deserved of their reward for risk.
So here we sit, with ECU being very roughly valued at 75 cents/oz. in the ground silver...or about 18 cents with all in 1.6 billion indicated, inferred and potential.
Gold and silver will go up. The slimy hands with their death grip on it will slither away at some point. When? I don't want to say anything here that would be considered optimistic. I am suffering along with you.
