There is no question there comes a time when fundamentals are predominant over technical analysis. Sometimes the tracks of the investing public go way too far from reality. In the case of ECU, they have the goods and artificial share prices just can't hide that. They can scare folks into believing something different but plainly, the share price isn't telling the whole story. We are all just in a grinder for the moment as others continue to play their game for short term profit, it's just part of how the game is being allowed to persist.
I have a substantial investment in a small Canadian gold producer with excellent exploration potential. It currently is selling for about 4 times 2008 projected earnings with three good quarters in already. Do you think I put any faith in the chart? No way Jose!
You are right sinbob. Sometimes fundamentals do overshadow the apparent meaning of charts, especially when they have been grossly tampered with.
