Christina Romer, the White House economic advisor, stated on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday "of course they are sound" in reply to the question, if the fundamentals of the economy were sound. She in addition stated that "We know that, that temporarily we're in a mess, right?" Sorry, it's not as temporary as you would like it to be. Martin Armstrong has stated that the housing price slide will, at least, continue into 2011 and more than likely will surpass that minimum expectation. This alone will play havoc on the minds of homeowners and force them to save, not spend for a sound economy.
Romer needs to seriously consider contacting Martin Armstrong and getting re-educated or maybe, she ought to hang a sign around her neck for her next interview stating, I am a paid parrot.
