Why does everybody keep talking about shorters. Shorters look to drive the price dow. This selling mostly by our bankers TD and Blackmont is simply what left from the "bought deal". It is obvioud that they did not manage to sell all their shares prior to closing, so now rather than holding on to them they choose to sell them.
Don't forget there were 25MM new shares added. Allthough most of them fell into "good hands" many did not. How many are left to sell, not too many people know.
Still since April 1st the action on ECU has been very bullish. Will we see another 2006, I believe so, but nothing is guaranteed. Much still has to do with the price of the underlying asset, Silver, which is still gloomy.
