Right on bull. The last TIC report (for Feb 09) showed a negative $100 Billion. This tells us that not only has buying of US treauries gone down, but is now actually negative. Net private outflow was also in the $100 bil territory

Who is buying? The pirates of the carribean and the Fed. That is like a snake eating its own tail. Eventually it will end in disaster.

This causes me to think that large holders of stock may be selling at distressed prices just to get ahold of cash. Sounds strange to me that someone would actually want to hold a rotting assett but.....

Perhaps they are selling alll US denominated assetts to raise Us $s in order to move them into other currency denominated vehicles. Since ECU is denominated in Can lookies, its price action seems counter intuitive. The combination of a appreciating currency and a company of appreciating net worth ( yes ECU ) should be highly desirable.

This feeble mind just doesn't grock what is going on. Maybe I should go watch break-the-banky and get my thinking straight! Nah...
