Actually I think the broker would love it if you sold, and it would further obfuscate the true float and would make it harder to trace the fraud. Realize that if this is taking place, and I do not know if it is but suspect so, that potentially much of the stock that we own is created phantom shares. The implications of this are huge, as if we were to have a reverse stock split, it would be like a game of musical chairs, in that there are only a certain number of authorized and issued shares, but some percentage over that representing the phantom issue would be turning in their shares for new reversed shares. Someone would be left standing up when all the shares were counted. There have been examples of annual meetings of NYSE companies where the stock voted was 150% or more of the issued and outstanding. With all due respect to pic, but since I am on this rant, naked shorting also destroys TA, because the whole basis of TA is price and volume, but with an unknown moving target of I and A shares, what does volume truly mean? No one knows.
