Subject: Postponing judgement day

A bear market rally after a crash,,,,even if it is many months in duration may not be a return to the bull market,,,,especially (and I agree with this) if the housing market, etc., etc. has not bottomed....That unhealthy progression lights off too many derivative problems in the banking sector...It also begs the question in my mind of what constitutes insolvency,,,,or perhaps,,,,at what STAGE of extreme insolvency of leading Wall Street Banks is severe enough for these banks to fail....? I don't think this is a frivolous question at all. Is this yet another example of technical market profiles triumphing over reality? Oh, how tiresome!

So taxpayers futures are used to bail out the present at the cost to the future and the US (and other) stock markets respond by rising even as the FOREX rejects the process and the USD AND bonds collapse....What this seems to set up in my mind is a scenario wherein the deflation is ostensibly reversed by massive liquidity injections, stocks go UP in price,,,,while they chase their valuations down as the FOREX values for the USD decline - followed (if not preceded by competitive devaluations and similar fatal infirmities in other monetary circles)....This slight of hand WOULD buy time, if successful,,,,but it would also be ephemeral - or worse - an illusion....This would be the hyperinflation scenario that implies a successful orchestration of Federal Reserve Policies on behalf of the Wall Street banks....As the USD crashes, like two ships in the night, they PASS with the equities rising in price,,,,,but not in value...and wave at the USD as it goes the other direction..Wait a New York Wall Street minute! That sounds like the DOW et al. during the last 9 years when the DOW really did NOT keep pace with inflation and that profits were an illusion....

So what are we left with? More of the same,,,only worse....

I'll buy more gold and silver (when I can find it!) and just watch all that paper burn....I hope in the years ahead there is enough society left to support civilized living!
