Can the opposite hold true on the HUI theory?

Normally, when the HUI gets taken out back and shot in the afternoon on little gold movement, they have been alerted that a bear raid in gold will occurr overnight or the next day. This afternoon, the HUI spiked 6 points in the last 1/2 hour even as gold and the overall stock market didn't move (and even fell a bit). Does this portend a major move higher in gold tonight/tomorrow. If we see a major gold spike, we'll know the cartel had alerted their "friends" to cover their shorts on the HUI.
