Oil goes up and so does the Looney.

Depends on whom you trust as to prophesy but most that I hear say that looney is still to go up thanks to ( no thanks from Ontarians ) oil exports. Actually I heard on more than one occasion that Alberta's economy is/was in danger of over heating.

Bank of Canada has a problem as to whom to serve, Albertans by raising interest rates and drive the Looney higher or Ontarians and Quebecers by driving interest rates lower.

It's like the perverbial one foot in a bucket of boiling water and the other in freezing water. On average, OK. Some ok.

Don't depend on C$ to go down much in the near future. Good luck with that purchase.
