Yup, it's finally the US$ turn to have gold be higher. During the whole time the US$ was rising against other currencies, gold wasn't doing too much, but gold was sure doing great against the other currencies. We knew that eventually the US$ rally would end. Well, here we are. As a result gold is finally catching up in US$ terms while flat in other currencies.

However, it won't be too long until gold is everybody's currency of choice and rises against all currencies. Paper will be viewed as what it is, paper.
