Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
I could go on and on but the truth is that we are lucky to have the management we have. They have made lemonade out of lemons on numerous occasions.
I also don't think that we will let any of our employees go. I hope we train them to run the mill as efficiently as possible and expand the capacity.
What ever we pay them they earn...and they are one of our biggest assets.
First off, I cannot agree with you more Scoutaz. What the ECU management has done with the company has been exceptional, and having 400 employees can only help us as we look to the future of ECU. I doubt management has that many employees "just for the heck of it."
I appreciate your trying to make sure that management is held accountable, Hecate, but have you already forgotten where ECU has come from it's low on March 19th of .43 Canadian. Here we are on June 8th and .76, and we did this while most other markets have been looking pretty depressing.
I know we are down from our recent high of .90, but we are still in very good shape for another move up in the not too distant future. PMs, including ECU, are not stocks for the faint of heart, and patience will be key to the success of making money here. So, relax and wait, things are going to happen!!
Don't forget what the cartel has been doing with the price of gold and silver the last few trading days. It is only natural that a silver mining company may see a bit of a hit when the commodity that they are mining has been hit.
Overall, we are still in good shape and there really isn't a need to panic...Now, if we close on a day below .70, things may get more interesting, but for now I'm still feeling good here!! So smile :) and be glad for where we are at from even a few months ago!!
Good luck to all those here at ECU!!
