2,000 kg is nothing on the world market. As mentioned the coins will pe=robably end up in collections not a bullion hoard nor melted down into "for delivery" form.

It is nice that this piece of history has been found, but the amount is insignificant to the way gold is priced.

I wouldn't mind having one but I doubt any will get to these shores and if they did, they would carry too high a premium for me.
