Because of what was done to all markets, except bonds and the Dollar, just about every analyst was wrong.

It cracks me up when I hear about some analyst, newsletter writer, or fund manager being wrong last year, like he/she was the only one that got hit. Everyone was nailed, even Peter Schiff. Maybe not really wrong about what was going to happen, but to the extend it happened and that it happened all over the world; even he took a big hit.

About the only analysts that made money were those that were short all the time. The whole mess caught everyone standing on the wrong foot. The only other exceptions that probably made big bucks were the government sponsored banks: Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. They know everything in advance.
