Well stated agx!

I believe most of the contributors here have been invested in the PM sector for a long time and as a result, understand the fundamentals for this market, as well as the risks associated with it. This has nothing to do with ECU or many of the other good quality juniors out there. Instead the growing frustration has to do with the obvious manipulations of markets from those who have the power and resources to sway sentiment.

A quick view of the 10-year gold chart will confirm that we have been in a bull market for the past 8-years, yet how many times does gold (or silver) ever close at the high for the day? How often does gold open lower in NY versus Asia during this same time span? The recent attempted theft of Goldman Sachs' "proprietary" trading program only reinforces what many of us have been suspecting for a long time. There are no true free markets, contrary to what the government, regulators, bankers and certain media outlets would like us to believe.

I bought into ECU many years ago because I felt it was potentially one of the largest and best deposits (Valerdena), in the best commodity sector (gold & silver), that provided the best leverage (mining shares), in an era where hard assets should help protect and even create wealth. This has not changed.

The rising 8-year gold price confirms that a primary trend cannot be altered in spite countless attempts from those with unparalleled resources. Sometimes we just need to step back and view the broad picture to reaffirm our decisions.

As for Sinclair, his formula and golden pillars have proved correct even though his timing may sometimes be off.

Our time will come.
