Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
The only event of saignificance I'm looking for is that the company become cashflow positive. Everything else including exploration, future operational growth and share price will flow from this. For those wondering about exploration plan the company stated in a recent press release that plans had begun.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Aug 24, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
ECU Silver Mining Inc. ("ECU Silver") (TSX: ECU) is pleased to report that it has entered into an agreement with its lender to restructure its current debt. The restructuring of the debt will provide ECU Silver with greater financial flexibility as we move forward with additional development plans for future operational growth and for the planning of our exploration program.
For more specifics on the exploration possibilities I suggest people read closely the outlined suggested plan by Micon in the last 43-101, it was quite detailed and extensive. Micon basically laid out a road map to the one billion ounce potential they outlined in the 43-101 resource report. I also suggest a re-reading of press releases associated with the deep drill targets of massive sulphides and MD&A commentary discussing the Mineralized Corridor. The resource expansion for ECU is a no brainer but first things first.
Many companies take a year to do what ECU has done in months and the transition of mine planning, opening stopes and transition to production takes time. It's fine to vent when one has little idea or concept of what is required. Although there certainly are some here who understand the present undertaking but they rarely speak.
The company in these tougher times raised significant capital and made a committement to becoming cashflow positive to ease the need for further future dilution and demonstrate the profit potential of Velardena. The company is close to this objective and this will allow further operational improvements leading to increased production of the oxide mill, re-starting the sulphide mill and building the resource toward and beyond one billion ounces through exploration.
