Manipulation overrides technical analysis, but you have a good observation about the ASKS. Perhaps someone with great math and charting abilities could turn this observation into a new technical indicator called MAD: the Manipulated ASKS Divergence.

If everyone is going to continue looking at, and trying to use indicators in these vastly manipulated markets, we might as well use these manipulation signs as signals in a TA indicator. Then at least TA might actually mean something with the MAD indicator incorporated into the mix.
