in being so positive about ECU? Why? Because I totally underestimated the sheer power of the corrupt power elite. Of course my faith in ECU has always based on my belief in management, the resource and its potential, and the fundamentals...which I still have total faith in. But now I realize that this JPM has so much going for it that it simply had to be put down by the powers that be. Of course it has been toyed with along the way, just to give honest investors a carrot periodically...enough to suck them down into the depths of gloom. This is poker at it's best folks. There are long time posters here who are paid professionals very cleverly deceive us and they have done an excellent job. Can you imagine the investment that has been invested in these very clever people ... who are professionals for a fee? It has obviously been well worth their while when you see the share price today.

I believe that there are those who have been posting here for years, who have been most convincing, extremely knowledgeable and who are well placed and well funded..who's objective all along was to to promote ECU... knowing full well that huge forces (as in themselves) could take it down on a whim. Such "forces", shorting and naked shorting stocks such as ECU, are the major Canadian Banks and brokers who are directed buy the powers in Washington and Wall Street. Just think about Scotia Mocatta playing in the gold markets and RBC being a prime dealer for the US. FED...and that is a fact. Hey, they needed longs in order to play the short side..hence we have pumpers. The sad fact of the matter is that people like me truly believed in the long side based on our knowledge of the facts. We were just the kind of fuel the corrupt shorts needed. As honest as we are/were...we played right into their hands. And sadly, here we are today and they are still in control and laughing. Their minions who post here have seen the cards before they are played. How can they lose? As a human I know understand the term "cowardice". Am I angry? Yes. And so should you be.

ECU will float around this level until the above have realized the jig is up and it's time to make the huge bucks on the upside. We are close. What we few honest players must do is ride their coat tails to the top. As disgusting at that is, that is our only salvation.

I leave you all tonight totally bereft what were of my honest and most sincere intentions here from day one. I am the victim of my own naivety...that being that the fundamentals would apply to the markets and that honesty would prevail. How stupid of me to think that the force of market gravity could be denied by the corrupt...for longer than I ever surmised.

This will all end to our benefit one day. I can only speculate about the time frame...as it has thus far proven to be a fool's wager.

We have all been had...management included. All we have left is patience, the courage of our convictions and the knowldge that gold is the ultimate currency.
