shorting in a firm bull mkt is a dangerious game. keep stops close.
anyway, im not a planetary follower but a large community within the financial ranks is. and thus that makes following or knowing the cycles important as "things" do seem to occur along these points. That said, it is likely that the planetary alignmnet/or turning points are simply the easier most obvious cycle to follow, whereas another more prudent mathematical formula exists that is governed, or governs the logic of planetary movement.
I think Prechter could be wrong, because planetary movements are mathematical, and certain. The markets are by far certain, and much more complex with no linearity. We have the unknown, which is human psychology, and a more complex world with weapons of various sorts influencing it (be it Intellectual, economic, Nuclear, etc). While it may be true that the market will turn and will or can be made to align with a turning point, they simply could get or have gotten the market wrong and retrospectively after all is said and done, finally figure out that the market they were looking at was the wrong market and they should have been looking at Real Estate deflation, not PMs. So best to beat them with a rational view on how things ought to be, and hold pat!
Sorry, rambled a bit....hopefully make some sense..
