We have experienced a tremendous hammering of silver and silver stocks over the last 7 trading days. I firmly believe that the main reason is to due to the failure of the Boyz using their old tricks to effectively keep gold down. The supply of both metals is extremely tight, but it is gold that the government and CB's MUST keep under control to keep the demand from skyrocketing and the price exploding.

Silver is an easier market to depress due to the small size of the market and the few pure silver plays are easy targets for shorters. The spike in silver this morning should bring a good surge in volume if not price. Given the DOW is DOWn and most metal stocks are up, I can see ECU recovering strongly and the rest of the silver plays also showing good gains.
