I am always hopeful that the junior miners will be recognized eventually for their true worth and that share prices will more accurately reflect the value that we feel is there, particularly in the case of ECU. It is, however, very difficult to put aside the thought that the current "Venture" exchange grew out of the original Vancouver exchange. That operation had various uncomplimentary nicknames, the most common being "Las Vegas North." When we are constantly reading about the apparent dishonesty on Wall Street and about things like the black boxes that are programmed to manipulate the market in favour of their operators it becomes very difficult to "hang on" in the hope that somehow things will resolve themselves and "true value" will be recognized. The constant counterflow of cheerful urgings from the likes of Sharkie are welcome relief but I personally find the process quite wearing and not a little discouraging. I do hope that some day anyone who is acting illegally to control the markets will be brought to justice and that a company's shares will become more of a true reflection of its management's efforts to operate a profitable and growing enterprise.
