In spite of the correction in oil and the metals, oil stocks and miners like Xstrata, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Fresnillo and Randgold are either flat or significantly up on the London Stock Exchange.

Is this a surprise or is this take down in commodities an occasion for serious short covering.
