jnycat, it is obvious from your post that you have many negative thoughts about the company and its management. I sense that you are ticked off because you have a loss on your purchases, and want to cover this, if not make a profit, and can’t at the present sp, hence the frustration and innuendo.

FWIW here are my comments re your comments. I have no connection with management, and like you, did not participate in any private placements.

Did they not just borrow another 12 million dollars for operation costs?

Nope, this $12MM is from options to existing shareholders, not borrowed from a bank. I was under the impression that the money is going to be used to finance a drilling program that will do infill drilling that will allow them to move ‘inferred’ resources into ‘measured and indicated’, and also explore the massive sulphides. Isn’t this how you improve shareholder value, by increasing the size of the resource on site, and if appropriate, building a bigger mill to increase the rate of metals production, presumably increasing profits (and thus share price)?

The fact that they borrowed money to continue a good cash flow for the mill and future findings makes no sense if you are giving 2 million dollars or just short of that to company officials that have been eating our money.

Eating our money? What do you mean by this? They didn't borrow the money.

Not anyone on this board can tell me that they think AIG, fannie and Freddie, or GMAC executives are owed a bonus for what they took do they?

Straight out of left field – what has this got to do with ECU, other than imply that ECU management are behaving like US financials?

there is no reason why we don't get a honest profit and loss statement.

We get a quarterly and annual financial update that is published on SEDAR. How many times per day would you like to see an updated financial statement? Excuse the sarcasm.

if they are borrowing this money without showing some kind of proof that our share price belongs where it is then it will continue to happen. The bank is buying us out is all I can figure.

As I said before, they are not borrowing this money, they are granting options worth $12 MM.

And some of us are still taking a 30 to 65 percent loss since before the first 43/101 report came in.

I don’t suppose you noticed the financial tsunami that happened in 2008 that decimated jpms share prices.

We don't deserve this type of share price not at 18.00 silver, not even including all other metals involved.

You are correct, we don’t, but there is general agreement ton the board hat the share price is being manipulated (4.88 million shares shorted, for example). I am sure there are people who are hanging on just to see what happens when the shorts have to cover.

ECU management loves to lurk in the dark.

What are you implying here? Posters on the board have patiently explained that management is unable to release news reports until all questions re the pp have been answered (I don’t know why either, legalities).

your stock is worth less than the individuals that run the company we pay for results.

So, you know that the new worth of the BOD is greater than the market cap. How do you know this, or are you still venting.

What are the positives in store?

  • The pp will be finalised and we will get news releases again.
  • I think (hope) that November and December dore production will be good.
  • Mill production will be optimised as we go forward in the learning curve.
  • A drilling program will get underway, and the resource numbers will be increased.
  • Another larger mill could be considered, method of funding unknown.
  • The price of gold, silver and our base metals are increasing.
  • Market sentiment may be turning positive to jpms again.

Look, if you truly are as unhappy with ECU as you put in print, sell your shares and move on to a happier campground.

To finish my vent, the number of thumbs up your post received surprises me – there sure is a lot of frustration around. Today my glass is half full, not half empty.
