I watched a short interview of Warren Buffett earlier today in which he lavishly praised both Bernanke and Geithner. He said they had done a spectacular and proper job in dealing with the US financial problems and that Bernanke should be confirmed for another term.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the administration use Buffett to lean on some of those Senators who have expressed doubt about Bernanke's performance or who currently plan not to vote to confirm him. The list currently opposing Bernanke has recently added a few more names.
