Somebody has to 'fess up!

Below is the daily volume of ECU traded on the TSX from Feb 16th (15th was a family day as I recall)

Total	3117128

The decline in the short position was -3077079 shares. (All data from Stockwatch). The difference between the total volume, and volume for short covering is 40049 shares.

OK, who bought this 40K shares and didn't use it for short covering? :)

I am very sceptical of the shorts reduction number. Or am I missing something?
