Hi city,
Most of us here have been trying to figure out where ECU is headed for a long time so although most aspects of the company (increasing resources and commodity prices, new mill operating above expected capacity, etc.) indicate we should be valued at much higher market capitalization, we are still in a downtrend...until we are not.
If the gold and silver market plays out the way most of us expect it to, then it simply becomes a issue of timing, for all the juniors with real deposits. As we have seen, timing has proved most difficult for even the most astute and experienced followers of this gold bull.
Personally, I expected ECU to break by the end of January, which of course failed to materialize so I will simply wait while the company continues to solidify its standing as a legitimate small producer with significant exploration potential.
Not sure if that helps you much, but maybe others might be able to add some insight with their opinions.
