The big picture within the U.S. is one of complete hopelessness for the majority of their citizens.

Forget the “Day to day”.

All it does, along with the rhetoric of the politicians, the so-called financial experts et al., is give the average person false hope that things will improve.

THEY WILL NOT.

The debt carried by the U.S. can never be repaid. In fact, just to service the debt going forward will render any government incapable of dealing with day to day expectancies.

Taking the problem to the next level, one of the ways out is for the U.S. to declare “We refuse to honour our debt”.

Now the rest of the world has a problem, and, along with "losing their debt", the U.S. loses all credibility and status.

Yes, they still possess the Military Might to defend their actions, but for how long?

Long enough to rebuild their economic strength?

Never happen.

So, what do they do?

That is the sixty four thousand dollar question.
