Yah... I actually get the blood test done and the results are with the doctor on his desktop computer by the time I walk from the test to his room. I know what's up immediately. The cost is less than 100 USD; but to be honest I don't pay the bills other than the franchise so I tend not to look so closely.
As someone else said on this board, private insurance companies generally cause costs and frustrations to rise... I simply can't imagine receiving a bill for more than $5,000 dollars and being told there is a gap between the bill and what my insurance will pay. It's another world and one I'm not keen on living / working in. It's bad enough being sick or worrying about potentially being really sick... to add the worry about affording sickness on top of it is a form of cruel of torture. Here rich people can buy better products, but not better care
BTW on two side notes: 1) will we ever break out of this ECU price pattern??? Where are the up/down movements from before, more specifically where are the ups?
2) I accepted a great new job today so I'm beaming with happy love for all (left, right, hippies, bigots, centrists & all!). I'm now a senior business analyst for a huge luxury travel company... bye bye Financial Services, you will not be missed :P
Soul will travel...
