I have read a recent analyst's report on a company called Silver Standard which "incorporates Silver Standard's vast resource portfolio by valuing each measured and indicated resource silver equivalent ounce at $0.50/oz. for Tier 1 properties and $0.25/oz. for Tier 2 properties." My recollection is that I have read numbers for evaluating reserves in the ground, probably on this board, that were more in the $3 range. I have no knowledge of these matters that would allow me to argue for the right numbers but I wondered if any poster here would care to comment on the analyst's numbers. Perhaps they apply to certain types of deposits that are unlike ECU's. Any information would be appreciated.
