Not about the price itself but as to why.

I quote from first paragraph:
" Higher stock and commodity markets worldwide to start the week suggest investor risk appetite is on the rise again."

So investors are going into gold because they are willing to take on risk?
By the same token, investors go into Euro & US $ for safety. Oh Yeah, sure.

I have an aversion towards propaganda and this is another example of such.
Today's high was in Europe and the europeans want to be safe with gold being a traditional place to go to. The Euro having become like the dollar a place to exit from.
The day trading types may be responsible for some of the gold rise today but:

Could it be that Kitco has shorted gold?
