Keep in mind that the perpetrators, most likely the NY bullion banks and their associates, responsible for naked shorting the gold miners, mainly the juniors, only act out of greed and profit. Therefore, these NY boyz have a clear long term goal for suppressing the juniors over about the past 3 years.

Remember how Wall Street pumped mortgage bonds a few years ago while secretly shorting the same securities. Knowing how they operate may suggest that they are now pumping the various gold and silver ETF’s while secretly (not for us but for most) or quietly accumulating the junior shares. Many junior charts these days show relentless long-term accumulation with negligible if not negative price movements. Amazing how the professionals can trade in this manner. I would not even doubt if the bullion banks are the main buyers today on the ETF’s just so they can attract other investors looking for profits while keeping the juniors quarantined for themselves.

Once the usefulness of the gold and silver ETF’s has been met, the NY boyz will have no problem unleashing the fact that they never had any or at best only limited physical backing in the first place. Sure a few bullion banks and other associates will be fined, sued, or go bankrupt but that would be similar to what was sacrificed during the real estate bust. Afterwards, the gold/silver friendly ETF investors will panic and move into gold shares and/or physical. This buying wave will be historical.

Lastly, it could be that the junior suppression has taken so long because us gold and silver investors are one wise and stubborn bunch. Most of us are aware of the extremely positive fundamentals of silver and ECU and in no way will we be tricked to sell our shares to the manipulators. Hence, the accumulation phase becomes extended as the boyz ultimately want our shares so they can sell them multiples higher at a later date to the ETF investors.
