This article says that Bolivia produced 1.1 million tons of silver in 2009. ( One ton = 32,000 ounces)

1.1 million tons x 32,000 ounces = 35 billion ounces produced in Bolivia alone in 2009 !!??

35 billion x 15.00 US$/ounce = $525 billion US for Bolivian silver in 2009 !???

I thought I read that the whole world's production was roughly 1 billion ounces ??
