I think it significant that a few acquisitions have taken place where the purchase price has valued "in the ground" metal at far over stock valuation prices.

Also encouraging is that share holders don't just rubber stamp the offers picking up a few nickles. I interpret this as the holders of junior miners today are the real die hard bugs that are significantly more knowledgeable than J6P and want value for any purchase of the stock they have held through the hard times.

Would you sell your jr silver mine for $4 proven in ground resource? Me neither! Given that the average jr has had a terrible time generating the funds for exploration over the last 2-3 years, I would postulate that many are sitting on ore holding vastly more metal than the proven and probable #s on their filings and there is no reason to give the properties away.
